We proudly participate in HELMEPA (Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association), engaging in initiatives that promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices within the maritime industry. Our membership underscores our dedication to preserving marine environments and reducing our ecological footprint.

▸SOCIAL

ENEA MANAGEMENT INC. embraces the concept of giving back to the society and making a real change and impact. We have contributed donations to support disaster relief efforts in Thessaly through organizations like EENMA and UGS. We actively promote diversity and inclusion and support our employees regardless of race, sex, abilities, gender or sexual orientation by offering equal opportunities for advancement within our workforce. With women holding managerial positions both ashore and in high-ranking roles at sea, we champion gender equality and thereby foster innovation and improved business performance. Additionally, we are active supporters of WISTA (Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association) and have contributed to the launch of EENMA scholarships, in line with our pledge to supporting education and nurturing future leaders.

Additionally, we prioritize the well-being of our crew by establishing a quality working and living environment onboard. By providing to our crew amenities like Starlink and therefore by ensuring they all enjoy enhanced connectivity during leisure time, we uphold our steadfast commitment to supporting our employees in both their professional endeavors and in their personal well-being. In this respect, we value the mental health of our employees and try to enhance it by identifying, eliminating, or minimizing all harmful processes, procedures and behaviors that may cause psychological harm or illness to our personnel.

Furthermore, we are committed to providing and ensuring a working environment with respect for the dignity, personality, and well-being of all our employees, free from offensive, hostile, and/or intimidating influences that may affect job performance, safety, and/or mental and physical well-being, encouraging the elimination of discrimination, harassment, bullying, sexual assault and sexual harassment. No such behavior is allowed within the Company’s premises or managed vessels, and the Company strictly prohibits any such type of behavior.

Safety of life at sea is also paramount to us. We have successfully participated in Search and Rescue operations, and our contribution was recognized by the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping. Moreover, we were honored as the first ship to conduct repairs at the Skaramangas shipyard since its closure in 2011, showcasing our commitment to supporting our local communities while at the same time opting for operational excellence and leadership within the Hellenic maritime industry and community.

We maintain stringent Quality Management Systems to meet industry expectations. Our Safety, Security, Quality, and Environmental Management system complies with the ISM and ISPS Codes, and is certified by DNV, BV, and LRS. We uphold ISO certifications, such as ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management, reflecting our commitment to excellence and responsible practices across all operational facets.

Further to the above, we have established stringent policies and a code of ethics/code of conduct to ensure our operations are always conducted with honesty and integrity, prohibiting any type of bribery and in compliance with all anti-money laundering and tax evasion prevention regulation. Our employees are provided with specific instructions relating to conflicts of interest and how to avoid them. Our company is moreover committed to a work environment that is free from human trafficking, forced labor and unlawful child labor.
